Our History

The Swettenham Foundation was formed in 2022 by Dawn and Ian Swettenham.

The couple bought their first pharmacy in Bebington in 1988 and over the next eleven years built up a chain of seven branches, trading as Swettenham Chemists Ltd. These branches are based around Chester, East Wirral and Llandudno. 

The Swettenham Foundation was formed as a means to benefit the communities in which the pharmacies operated and whose residents had supported the business. 

Currently, the Swettenham family still own and run four of the seven pharmacies.
