The Swettenham Foundation aims to support the mental and physical well-being of individuals through community projects in our designated areas.
Our History
The Swettenham Foundation was formed in 2022 by Dawn and Ian Swettenham. Dawn and Ian bought their first pharmacy in Bebington in 1988. Over the next 11 years they built up a chain of 7 branches trading as Swettenham Chemists Ltd, the branches being based around Chester, East Wirral and Llandudno.
The foundation was formed as a means to benefit the communities in which the pharmacies operated and whose residents had supported the business.
Currently, the Swettenham family still own and run four of the seven pharmacies.
